Doosan Bobcat Scholarship Program
Doosan Bobcat North America is awarding twenty-five college scholarships for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year. Additionally, Doosan Digital Innovation America (DDIA) will award seven college scholarships for the upcoming academic year. These scholarships are available for dependent children of active, full-time employees in the United States. More details:
Scholarships will total $1,000 per award. Funds will be paid directly to the institution.
This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Resources (SMR), an independent third-party scholarship administrator, to ensure fair and unbiased awards.
Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on applicants' overall academic performance, essay content and quality, honors and other relevant activities disclosed on each application.
Scholarship Requirements
This scholarship is for dependent children* of U.S. and Canada (including U.S. expatriates) active full-time employees of Doosan Bobcat North America and Doosan Digital Innovation America, applying for the 2025-2026 academic year.
If you are a child of a full-time, active employee and receive tuition reimbursement or financial assistance from the company, you are ineligible for this scholarship.

Your essay should be a minimum of 300 words, addressing the official question within the application, using proper spelling, grammar and punctuation.

This should be written by a teacher, counselor or employer on official letterhead with contact information and original signature.

Your transcripts should come from registrar (not the internet) for the past two semesters or three quarters of high school, college, university or trade school.

Upload a high-quality photo of yourself in your application. If you are selected as a scholarship recipient, we will share your photo in an internal announcement.

Official transcripts and your photo must be uploaded to the scholarship application. Letters of recommendation may be uploaded and emailed to Loren Hughes at hughes@ofic.org or mailed to:

*Dependent children are defined as biological, step or legally adopted children primarily supported by the employee.

Selections will be completed by Scholarship Management Resources (SMR), an independent third-party scholarship administrator, to ensure fair and unbiased awards. Applications will be judged in the following manner: 60% academic, 20% content, clarity, and spelling of essay, 20% awards, honors, activities, and completed application. We reserve the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time, including termination of the program.

Award funds will be distributed directly to the scholars' institutions at the end of July 2025.

Yes, but scholars will need to reapply each year, and renewal scholarships are not automatic nor guaranteed.

Yes. Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized Doosan Bobcat employees and agents (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. To protect the information being gathered, the scholarship application site has security measures in place including firewalls, encryption, and authenticated access to internal databases where needed.

This academic record must come from your high school guidance office or college registrar’s office and be signed by an appropriate official at the school or college. Unofficial records printed from the internet or other unofficial copies are not accepted.
